Valun is a small picturesque fishermen’s and farmers’ village between two beautiful beaches north of the city Cres.
One of the oldest Glagolitic monuments, the Valun Table from 11th century, was founded in St Mark church. It’s location today is in the Parish church in Valun.
The city is also known for its gastronomy, especially fish meals.
